Welcome to AM United Hockey Club

Background

AM United Hockey Club has a strong history in the Barossa Valley Hockey Association. In 2002 Angaston Hockey Club and Moculta Hockey Club combined forces after independently having ran successfully for 20+ years each. We have over 100 members and pride ourselves on being a family orientated club. AM United is open to all hockey players (or just social members) no matter what age, experience or skill level. Our members are based all over the Barossa Valley and surrounding regions, as well as a number of players from the city.

Competition

AM United has successfully filled competitive teams in all the junior competitions (U9’s, U11’s, U14’s and U17’s) as well as Men’s and Women’s teams competing in the senior competition. Recently AM United has had juniors selected in regional teams and in state teams. Our seniors have been successful in being named in team of the year and polling highly in the BVHA Best and Fairest count.

Development

AM United is committed to developing outstanding hockey players, coaches and umpires as well as catering for those that want to have fun while getting fit. In 2015 AM United will be running a number of hockey development programs, for those interested in developing their personal skills or who want to learn to umpire or coach. So whatever level of hockey you are aspiring to AM United would love to help you.

Facilities

In 2015 AM United will sadly be saying goodbye to their long time home at Moculta and moving completely to the international standard artificial turf at Stockwell.
